DENISE GANLEY

The first thing you should know about me, I struggle writing 500 word stories. They’re just too damn short! Perhaps one day I will be exposed to some strange radiation and mutate into a flash fiction maestro. But honestly, I’d rather be able to fly, so I’ll probably focus on that instead. Priorities.

I collect super-heroine action figures. Wonder Woman and Psylocke (X-men) are my favorite heroines, but they’re just the hilt of Excalibur. (Tell me you get that analogy, because ‘the tip of the iceberg’ is so boring and overused.)

I’m working on my first novel which I call literary crime fiction. When I'm not working on that, I'm tackling a YA graphic novel about a girl who can suddenly travel to the underworld. If you know a fantastic comic book/graphic novel artist looking for a writer, send them my way!
The requisite 3rd person bio blurb:

I've been writing a bunch of urban fantasy stories with the same character, Shireen. Here's an easy link for you to find all of her stories.
